Family Practitioner Track/Post-Graduate APRN Certificate
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you’re empowered to take on more responsibility and do your job with greater autonomy—handling everything from performing examinations to formulating diagnoses to writing prescriptions. When you complete this program, you’ll be able to provide general, family-focused care and serve as the primary healthcare provider for your patients, including those in rural, underserved areas where there may be few physicians.

Prepare yourself for some of the most highly respected and in-demand advanced-practice positions available—in one of the only programs of its kind in the country. From diagnosing and prescribing to performing advanced procedures and consulting on complex cases, you’ll be fully trained to handle acute and critical illnesses, serious trauma and injuries in emergency rooms, urgent care facilities and Level One Trauma Centers—the highest level of emergency care accessible in a hospital setting.

An Admissions Counselor will help you order your official transcripts and Averett will pay the associated costs. We will evaluate your transcripts to determine the degree program for which you qualify.
