The 3 Stages of Averett's Financial Aid Process:
Part A: Complete the FAFSA
You complete the FAFSA. Averett's Federal School Code is 003702.
Part B: Submit All Other Required Documentation
Please complete any additional documentation. You must have a complete financial aid file before beginning class.
Part C: Receive your Award Package
After you register for classes, Averett reviews the FAFSA information and determines an award offer of financial aid for your costs of attending Averett.
**If you apply for private loans to supplement your financial aid package, you may need to complete additional paperwork.**
How to Apply for Financial Aid:
Part A: Complete the FAFSA
Complete the FAFSA. Averett's Federal School Code is 003702.
Part B: Complete Important Financial Aid Forms
Please complete all sections and sign the following three financial aid forms. Once these forms are completed a copy will be sent to you and financial aid.
Part C: Complete Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling
Complete the Master Promissory Note (if you are interested in a student loan), and Entrance Counseling.
**Please note: You must re-apply for financial aid every year you are enrolled with Averett University’s Online division. **
After You've Applied:
Part A: Estimated Cost of Attendance
After you have applied for financial aid and registered for courses, Averett will send you an e-mail notification of your award explaining your estimated cost of attendance for the current year.
Part B: Submit Additional Information
In your e-mail notification stating your award and estimated cost of attendance; you may be asked to submit additional information.
Part C: Accept Awards
Make your awards official by accepting them in NetPartner.
