What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
Receiving my bachelor degree was a long-time goal for me. I thought when I graduated from Averett University with my BSBA I was done with college, however I realize the importance of continuing my education. As new generations and updated technology enter the workplace, I cannot be complacent with what I know today. Change is going to happen, it is up to me to learn how to integrate these changes into my organization.

I chose Averett because of my previous experience with the university’s staff, curriculum, and technology.

We all have life experiences that can transfer over to being a college student. Realize your potential, don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, and don’t be afraid to lead.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
I cannot be complacent with what I know today, change is going to happen, it is up to me to learn to adapt.
Most of us can probably remember hearing our grandparents or even parents say that is not how we did it back then, or life was so much simpler. They were right, but what is to be gained dwelling on it?
