Carly Pearce joined Averett University’s Graduate and Professional Studies program in 2015, and she currently serves as the Executive Director of GPS Student Services. Prior to this appointment, Pearce served Averett as the head women’s soccer coach and the senior woman administrator for seven years.
Responsibilities under Pearce’s purview include managing the GPS operational budget, supervising a team of student success coaches, implementing and evaluating retention strategies and services for students, as well as support the growth, development and degree completion of students enrolled. Pearce is passionate about creating opportunities for the growth and education of students and has proven this through an extensive list of accomplishments and generated programs for students throughout her work experience.
Pearce graduated from Northeastern State University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a minor in sociology, and a master’s in science in college teaching with an emphasis in psychology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.
