Hello! My Name Is…
Hello, my name is Christopher Wilmoth. I’m a Quality Assurance Manager in a fast-paced, high volume logistics/warehouse environment. I’ve been with my current employer for twenty years. I’m the proud father of sixteen year-old boy/girl twins. I enjoy watching sports, hitting the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Both kids are very active in school and travel sports, so they keep me very busy throughout the year.
What is your motivation for obtaining your degree here at Averett University?
After graduating from high school, I enrolled in college the very next semester. However, after a few semesters, I made the decision to forgo my education and enter the workforce full-time. I’ve always regretted that decision made many years ago. Many will say a college degree allows one to be more qualified, or possibly gain a competitive edge in the workplace, but personal satisfaction is motivation enough for me at this stage of my life and career. I feel the time is now right to complete what I started out to achieve almost three decades ago.
Why did you choose Averett University’s Graduate & Professional Studies program?
I chose Averett’s GPS program because of its many program offerings and flexibility. Through Averett’s GPS program, I’m able to successfully juggle family, work, extracurricular activities and education within my often hectic schedule.
