What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
My motivation for obtaining my degree comes from a promise within myself to prove that I am a valued person and can accomplish any goal I set forth.
Why did you choose Averett’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program?
I chose Averett University because it fit precisely into my busy life schedule. I am employed full time and the GPS program allows me to attend school as a full-time student with a target completion date for graduation. Choosing this degree program with the assistance of my education counselor was a very smooth process. My counselor worked with me in coordinating my classes to fit my busy lifestyle. The GPS program also allows me to attend school on a continuous course-to-course program.
Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students:
One tip I would share is to continue to dream and work on your goal that you set and make a promise to yourself to reach the finish line. Obstacles will always be lurking; one must always remain strong, steadfast, and unmovable. Climb that mountain and stay on the path. If you fall, get up and continue until you reach your destiny and never give up.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
My personal determination remains to be my motivation in accomplishing this goal that has been in the making for quite a while. My classmates are all incredible individuals and always share encouraging words with and for one another.
