My name is Ken Buckley. I’m a student here at Averett University. I am the field sales manager for a state-run organization right here in Virginia.
I recently found out that my job was eliminated, and I’m currently on a severance package, but that doesn’t last forever. As I’m applying for new positions, I’m finding out how important it is to have a bachelor’s degree. It’s almost every position that I’m applying for, it’s a requirement.
All the things you should consider when you’re searching for a college of your choice should be location. For me, Averett was close. You have a lot of people who are taking it online with you, so when you’re asking questions or you have questions, you can still connect with your fellow students, or there’s other ways to feel connected.
