My name is Mitchel Harris. I’m a current student at Averett University, in the Criminal Justice Program. My current occupation is with the Department of Corrections, as a probation officer assistant. My motivation to earn my degree is, I want to better myself, and better my chances for advancement within my career field.
The thing I like best about Averett is, the way the classes are set up, and the people. Everyone is friendly, helpful, professional. I feel like I’m attaining my goals through Averett. If I knew someone thinking about going to Averett, I would tell them to go for it, not to procrastinate. Avery’s the perfect place to balance work, social life, family life, and further their education.
