Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Small Business and Entrepreneurship

In the small business and entrepreneurship concentration , students will acquire the skills needed for establishing a business and managing their organization on a daily basis. 

Upon successful completion of coursework, students may earn a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Goals:

As a Business Administration: Small Business and Entrepreneurship graduate, you’ll have a solid base of theoretical knowledge in small business entrepreneurship, and practical skills to advance your small business concepts or entrepreneurial endeavors. You will also develop strong professional communication and critical thinking skills.

Format:

This concentration is formatted for intense study and accelerated completion. Allowing a student to take up to 18 credits, if desired, per semester to complete their degree at an accelerated pace. Small classes allow for productive discussions and personal attention from your instructors.

Who This Degree is For:

This concentration is for recent graduates or those transferring in with some college credits, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0. This is an online degree program so you must have access to an Internet-connected computer.

Averett University has partnership agreements with many community colleges facilitating up to 90 college hours that may be transferred into the Business Administration: Small Business and Entrepreneurship program.  Students will need 120 credits total, including previous coursework and core business classes taken at Averett in order to graduate. 

Admissions requirements, transfer credit guidelines and graduate requirements are outlined in our Academic Catalog. An Admissions Counselor will help you order your official transcripts and Averett will pay the associated costs. We will evaluate your transcripts to determine the degree program for which you qualify.
