Pat is the admissions counselor for the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice, MS in Criminal Justice Administration and Leadership, and the on-campus Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA programs in Richmond.
Welcome to the Averett Family! Although I love living in Richmond, Virginia, I am proud to be Pittsburgh born and raised! I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Social Work. After a very rewarding and diverse career in health care for twenty-five years, I made the transition into academia where I could help students navigate through the college process. I have been enrolling students at Averett for over ten years now and enjoy getting to know them and what makes them tick!
I love to travel, read, and sing (both in the shower and out)! Seeing my students graduate and realizing how their AU education impacts their lives is both inspiring and rewarding for me. I am grateful to be an integral part of that process.
