Hello Averett Family! I am the Director of Admissions for our Graduate & Professional Studies Program. I have had the privilege of being with Averett University for eleven years, and have loved every minute! In addition to my responsibilities as Director, I also teach in the program. Having earned my Master of Business Administration at Averett in December 2008, I truly understand what it’s like to be an adult learner while simultaneously striving to manage my busy academic life with my job and my busy personal life. I’m proof it can be done! I successfully earned my Bachelor of Business Administration at James Madison University in 2003, with a specialization in Marketing.
I consider myself incredibly blessed to have found Averett over a decade ago now. It is wonderfully rewarding to be a part of our students’ lives, and I could not be more proud to watch our amazing students walk across the stage at Commencement. My husband, our three sons, and I enjoy all sorts of activities on the water, including: fishing, boating, swimming, spending time together with our sweet miniature Golden Retriever, and capturing all the wondrous moments with my camera lens!
