Jonathan is the admissions counselor for the MS in Applied Data Analytics, Master of Accountancy, and the on-campus Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA programs in Quantico.
Welcome to the Averett Family! Having grown up in a military household, I had the opportunity to travel the world, meet all sorts of interesting people, and garner – firsthand — an understanding of the unique customs and cultures of various countries. Although I was born in Germany, I call Virginia home. In fact, I chose to pursue my academic studies in Virginia (earning a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing). I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and working as an Admissions Counselor at our Innsbrook Campus in Glen Allen enables me to do that on a daily basis (where I am grateful to be a part of a team that shares the same student-centered mindset as myself).
I love being able to be a kind of “seed planter” – instilling insights, options, and solutions into the conversations with students, and then watching my them take hold of the ideas that work best for them. I enjoy collaborating with students to help them identify and embrace the necessary steps to achieve their goals. It’s always an honor to be the one to help individual students through their journey.
