This week is one of our very favorite weeks in the Averett University Graduate & Professional Studies program! We have the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible accomplishment of our amazing GPS students who are graduating this Saturday! While this is a joyous time for us, it is also bittersweet because we have had the honor and privilege of walking alongside these inspiring students as they marched toward their goal of earning a degree, and we will miss them. We’ve had the pleasure of being there from the very beginning… from the moment they submitted a request form to learn more about one of our many degree programs designed for busy adults, to their very first day of class, to their very last day of class, and every milestone in between.
We have listened to their stories of wanting more out of life for themselves…we learned about their precious and supportive families…we learned about their goals and their dreams. We answered all of their questions about what it means to join the Averett Family. We encouraged them, we celebrated them, and most importantly, we grew to love them. Our students are truly the heart of everything we do here at Averett, which is why you see tons of photos of their beautiful faces on our GPS Social Media page. We would not be who we are today without our amazing students, and we are truly grateful they chose Averett University for this important time in their lives.
This video includes some of our upcoming GPS Graduates who will be walking across the stage this weekend in Danville to accept their hard-earned degrees. We could not be more proud of each of them and all of our hardworking students who will be accepting their degrees this weekend. It has been a true honor to walk alongside them.
If you are thinking about joining the Averett Family, our admissions counselors are here to support you and give you all of the information you need to make your decision. It would be our honor to walk alongside you in this important journey. Please feel free to contact us anytime to learn more about our programs designed for students just like you!
