What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
My motivation for obtaining my degree was my future children because I wanted to be able to provide for them as well as spend time with them without having anything over my head. I also wanted to better myself and grow within the company I now work for.
Why did you choose Averett’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program?
I chose Averett’s GPS program because after looking at a lot of colleges Averett was the only one who designed a program especially for those adults who are already established in the work force but want to grow within it.
Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students:
One tip for classmates and future students would be to never give up on what you want to accomplish. There will be times when you will get frustrated and you may think that you can’t do this right now but remember with the right support you can do anything and Averett University will definitely be a part of your support system.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
What helps keep me motivated right now would be my partner because he sees when I get frustrated and he reminds me of why I decided to take this journey and how proud he is of me.
