What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
I am obtaining my degree to ensure that I am able to make a worry free future for my family and give myself the opportunity to grow in my career field.
Why did you choose Averett’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program?
I chose Averett’s GPS Program because the class sizes are small. I knew from past experience that the professors are always available to help you in any way possible, and I appreciate everything that Averett stands for.
Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students:
Stay ahead of the game at all costs; when the weekend rolls around you want to have time for family and friends. Try to get your work done a little every night during the week even if you are completely exhausted from everything the day has thrown your way. You will not regret being able to have a Saturday free of stress & a Sunday full of football.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
I just keep telling myself this degree is the only way to be where I want to be in the future. In order to have a prosperous, successful future, I must stay focused.
