What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
I believe that I have something to contribute to the criminal justice field and I need a degree to be able to do that. I also want to show my children that with faith and perseverance, you can do whatever you put your mind to.

Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students:
My one tip would be to not procrastinate. Do not wait until Sunday to complete assignments. An issue may arise that may make you miss your deadline. Work your assignments into your “free time” as much as possible.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
Philippians 4:13 helps to keep me motivated. There are some times where juggling school and my other responsibilities get hard. Knowing that I can do all things because God has given me the strength, pushes me to keep going. The encouragement from friends and family also helps.
