What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
My motivation for obtaining my Bachelor of Business Administration degree is for the betterment of myself and my family. A degree will open doors and provide me opportunities in life that are otherwise unreachable.
Why did you choose Averett’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program?
I chose the Averett GPS program because it fit my lifestyle. As a husband, father of five, full-time employee, and High School Soccer Coach, the Averett academic program fit perfectly into my schedule.

The one tip that I would like to share with my classmates is to have a routine for your studies and completion of homework.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
Remembering the opportunities that have passed me by because I didn’t have a degree is my sustaining motivation. Even though I was qualified for the job, I didn’t have the piece of paper that gave me the opportunity to compete for it.
What is your anticipated Date of Graduation?
The last date of my last class is February 19, 2017. Graduation is May 2017!
